What are your credentials?
MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, BC-ADM, CPN
What is your area of practice/specialty?
Endocrinology/Diabetes
If you could vacation anywhere, where would you go and why?
My current dream vacation is a European River Cruise to see the Christmas Market! Europe, Christmas and German Mulled Wine (Glühwein).
How many years have you worked in healthcare?
I started working as an Activity Aid at the age of 15, so 20 years. 14 years as an RN and 9 as an APRN.
What inspired you to become a member of ISAPN?
I was taught to always be in a state and national organization that represent your license. Join ISAPN and becoming a committee member, has helped me stay informed and part of changing my profession for the better.
What is your favorite book?
I love historical fiction; My favorite is The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah
If you couldn't be an APRN, what other job would you try?
Maybe a baker or history teacher.
How has being a member of ISAPN benefited you?
ISAPN has allowed me to grow in my career through education and advocacy
If you could go back in time and give yourself advice as a student, what would it be?
